The Parlor Sessions is named in the memory of Helen Parlor, one of Newport Pagnell’s greatest creatives and a much missed friend.

Local favourite Lillibetis born and bred in Newport Pagnell and hailed by BBC Introducing’s Honor Morrison as “a force to be reckoned with”. Expect powerful vocals echoing the soul of the ’60s, interwoven with sharp, witty, and thought-provoking lyrics, all carried by infectious melodies. Prepare to be captivated.

MK Dance Theatre
This renowned youth dance company was established in 2019 with the vision of providing a platform for young dancers to explore and showcase their talent. MK Dance Theatre quickly gained recognition for its innovative choreography, unique artistic vision, and commitment to nurturing the next generation of dancers.

We can’t quite put into words how much we are looking forward to this one. It’s an incredible line-up that we feel so blessed to have, and in Newport Pagnell in the glorious acoustics of the church. My, oh my!

Scott Matthews
Scott’s ground-breaking debut album, Passing Stranger earned him serious critical acclaim with its bold mix of folk, rock, blues and Eastern-inspired songwriting, and in 2007 his first single ‘Elusive’ won the Ivor Novello Award for ‘Best Song Musically and Lyrically’.
Scott went on to perform at international sell-out tours with respected artists such as Rufus Wainwright, Bert Jansch, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Foo Fighters, Snow Patrol and Tori Amos.
Championed by Lauren Laverne as ‘a big favourite’ and Huey Morgan as being ‘something else’, Scott’s musical dexterity and experimentative approach to song-writing continued to excite over the course of the next several albums released.
Matthews’ latest album, Restless Lullabies, emerges with a stark boldness that is breath taking. The delicacy of the songs allows his poetry to breathe, his transcendent voice to soar, and brings his sensitive guitar playing into focus, further cementing his undeniable mastery as one of our greatest songsmiths.

Vashti Anna
Weaving together indie-folk and soul with jazz harmonies and introspective lyrics, her music explores the depths of human connection. Praised by BBC Radio 2’s Janice Long (“Absolutely stunning”) and The Independent (“A touch of class” at Glastonbury), Vashti comes from a celebrated musical family (Tom Baxter, Charlie Winston), has performed with Ed Sheeran and Jamie Lawson, and released three acclaimed albums.

Known for her beautiful voice, understanding of holistic culture and range of bands and national tours.
Ryan Pink
Co-founder of Parklife Festival Ryan has run over 100 music and science events, including three local open mics. Ryan has received cultural development awards from the BBC and RSA.
Stefan Pope
As well as being a talented musician himself, Stefan works across the music industry.
